I was asked by someone who commented to keep this coming beyond the fast. I think it would be a good resource for our church. I will continue to post at least a couple challenges of the day every week. I think I’ll be more strategic in providing things to study surrounding a series we’re in thou. There will be no rhyme or reason to which days I choose to post. The best way to not have to keep looking throughout the day or week for the blog is subscribe or follow me on twitter where I’ll always send a reminder out for this blog. I will also tweet random thoughts & quotes that I hope will encourage everyone.
Prayer – Talking to God
Use Psalm 91 the entire chapter for todays prayer pattern. Use each verse as a guide. Amen!
Bible Reading – God talking to us
Read the book of Romans. Its a great book. If you haven’t kept up no worries just pick up where you left off. I’m finding this personally very difficult as well.
Memory Verse – Remembering what God said
“Thanks be to God who gives us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57
Action Idea – Doing what God says
Not saying church is a commandment but would love to see you tonight.
Corporate Moment – Doing what God says together
Saturday 10a corporate prayer I want to have a prayer walk. We’re going to open up all the classrooms and we’re are going to loose everyone to pray over every possible area of our church. Walk our property and declare and dedicate Gods house as a space for grace.

Pastor Marcus, thanks so much! It will be great to continue the blog after the fast. As I am presently out of town, I find it so very helpful to have this support to turn to. It never ceases to amaze me how each day is EXACTLY what I need; (ie. Psm 91.) I have read it to my dear Aunt as I sit with her in the hospital. She is 92! and has suffered a stroke. God bless you as you lead us.

Dear pastor Marcus,
Thank you so much for all the effort you give to our church. I thank God for leading us to 7 Hills. I didnt do the fast last year, but this year I decided to do the daniel fast. What a blessing it has been. I always had a hard time reading the bible and understanding,or I guess getting the story behind the scriptures. I’ve had people say well you need to pray about it or something is wrong with you if you don’t understand. lol but during this fast I’ve been so much more connected and at times unable to put my bible down, I just want to keep reading the story and keep following Jesus through out it. So thanks so much for your blog this is why I started reading the new testament and wow what a story. Its better than any other book I’ve ever read. I actually understood everything, well maybe a few words I had to look at the bottom to see what it was but I got it, I got the awesome story that is there to let us know what to do and how to do it. Thanks so much. be blessed, tina

I have learned that love, even at it’s weakest, is still love; faith, even at it’s weakest, is still faith and hope is what keeps them from disappearing…
