Sunday is the 14 day mark for many of you. I’m done officially tonight but I’m going to keep going for a little while. My point is the last week goes by really fast and you start wandering did I really seek God like I should. If you pulled back keep going, you’ll be glad you did.
Prayer – Talking to God
John 17:6-26 is our prayer pattern for the day. This has been said to be the only prayer Jesus ever prayed that has yet to come to pass. It’s a prayer about many things but its primary focus is for the body of Christ to be in unity. Pray each verse as the Holy Spirit leads you.
Bible Reading – God talking to us
Luke chapters 21- 24 & John chapters 1 – 5 when we finish reading John we’re about half way done. It starts moving a little quicker from here.
Memory Verse – Remembering what God says
“But for me and my house we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
Action Idea – Doing what God says
Thanks for the ideas. I like the being thankful idea! Nothing like not eating like you normally would to make you thankful for things we take for granted.
Corporate Moment – Doing what God says together
I missed out on last saturday prayer because of something I had to take care of. I plan on being at saturday prayer at 10 am. Would love for you to make it if you can.

My response is in regards to 2/17: “Timing is Beautiful.” In my experience, God’s timing is perfect even if it isn’t what I would have chosen for myself. For example, in November 1996 my youngest daughter’s 4th grade class was planning their spring field trip to Cumberland Falls. They were asking parents to sign up as chaperons. I always participated in almost all my children’s activities so I told my daughter to sign me up. Imagine my disappointment when she told me there were no more openings for female chaperons! When April rolled around and I was gathering the items my daughter needed to take with her to Cumberland my son decided to inform me he needed me to go with him to Freshman Orientation at NKU the same time that Chelsea would be away at Cumberland. God knew all along. Here I was, a newly divorce woman with 3 children. I had been so disappointed that I was going to miss out on Chelsea’s field trip. I would have been much more upset had I not been available to take my son to his Freshman Orientation! Thank God that He intervened and wrote in my day planner. His timing is absolutely perfect and that 1st time that I saw it awakened my senses to His timing always (although like I mentioned above, I don’t always like God’s timing at first. He cuts it a little too close for my comfort but I’m learning to trust Him more each day. That’s my issue, not God’s.)
I am relatively new to 7 Hills Church. I haven’t joined yet, was going to then had emergency surgery. I love the people – the staff and the people I’ve met who attend. Most seem very genuine and down to earth. I have had some very difficult times the past 4 years due to being in a work-related car accident. Now I’m waiting for my fully powered rehab wheelchair to be custom built. It was through meeting with Tenille and a couple of other people who prayed with me and much bible reading, praying, journaling, and crying at home that I’ve come to realize that it doesn’t matter what position I’m in I can still be useful and used of God. Again, timing is beautiful and the pastoral staff at 7 Hills Church (at least the ones I’ve been in contact with) are certainly open vessels, waiting and willing to be used of God whenever He wills. In His time. They are beautiful. Thanks to all of you for your christian love and support and prayers. I have appreciated them all. I look forward to a long relationship with 7 Hills Church.
